Oil on Collage on Cradled Board

29″ x 11″

$900.00

I was trying to combine traditional oil landscape painting with collage in this piece.  As it turned out, the collage peeks out in only a couple of places.  It depicts a scene dear to my heart of one of the last farms on our main road which has been surrounded by suburbia.  The farmer still plants and bales up alfalfa several times a year.

This piece was juried into the Contemporary Show at The Art Center in Grand Junction in June 2015.  The juror was Gregory Botts.
