I have been working on these room collages for the last several months. They are all done on wooden cradled boards either 12″x36″ or 12″x48″. I hope to develop a cohesive exhibit based on these images of interiors done with magazine and newspaper advertisements. My focus is on the windows and multiple illusions of space. At a quick glance, these pieces look like they make sense and seem photographic. However, on closer examination, the viewer realizes that the scenes have a surreal and vaguely mystical quality.
