This collage grew from a prepared substrate on a 10 inch x 10 inch gessoboard. The substrate contained a piece of wallpaper border with Van Gogh’s Starry Night and I added sewing pattern tissues to it. I worked around a print of Botticelli’s Three Graces, although I took many liberties with it. I guess I would have to thank both Van Gogh and Botticelli for this whimsical work.

It recently was designated Best of Show in the Core Gallery of Denver Juried Miniature Show.

It sold at the Art Center Auction in 2014.
